About us
In 2009 our ski school actively joined the sports’ life of Budapest and that of the second district. It opened its doors within the premises of Vasas Pasarét Sport Centre for people being interested in winter sports.
Our aim is to provide regular opportunities for exercise for our pupils who are able to get acquainted with the basics of all winter sports not only in a leisurely way but also in a very pleasant environment.
The modern plastic ski slope equipped with a ski lift and floodlights provides excellent opportunities for children and adults, beginner and advanced students of all age groups.
After we have taught the correct ski and snowboard techniques to our students our ski school and travel agency, TandT Sports Travel is also welcoming our pupils and their members of their families to camps abroad where they are able to continue learning with their usual sports teachers.
Our qualified sports teachers teach our pupils the rules of safe ski lifting and ascent downhill together with the basics of skiing and snowboarding. Lessons are timed for 55 minutes each time.
We provide lessons within groups and individual tutoring by taking into consideration our pupil’s needs and level of knowledge. Our aim is to develop their skills to proficiency so that later they will be able to enjoy the conquest of wonderful snowy ski slopes.
Doing exercise, work-out and learning in our school is always an event enjoyed within a happy sports community. Our training teams are welcoming students to participate in varied programs organised at all four seasons.
Our school has already been a base for the Alpine Ski Section of Vasas Professional Sports Centre for five years. We are proud of our competitors’ group of almost fifty members which won the highest prize four times. Our pupils at advanced level always have the opportunity to join the group re-supplying our competitors’ team but also gaining experience in the world of sports competition.
The material of our ski slope is built with the product of the Italian Neverplast factory. This is the most modern plastic cover that exists to date since its sliding characteristics resemble the most to the real snow covered mountain slopes. Our ski lift is the product of the Austrian Sunkid company manufactured both in the version of pusher bar of plate ski lift which provide the opportunity to learn how to use climbing aids safely. See further information at www.sunkid.at
